This policy explains how FleetFootage (“we,” “us”) collects and uses information when you visit fleetfootage.com, submit our intake form, or opt in to text messages. It is written for operational clarity; it is not a substitute for legal advice.
Who we are

Information we collect
- Intake form: business name, contact name, title, work email, phone number, operating states, fleet size, vehicle types, camera vendors, camera facing, retention, notes, and optional SMS consent.
- SMS opt-in: the mobile number you provided, the fact and time of consent, and the disclosure you agreed to.
- Technical: standard web logs (IP address, browser type, pages viewed) when you visit the site.
How we use information
- Evaluate licensing fit and follow up on inquiries you submit.
- Schedule intro calls and share next steps about a potential licensing agreement.
- If you opt in to SMS, send texts about your inquiry and licensing next steps (see SMS section below).
- Operate, secure, and improve the website.
SMS / text messaging
If you check the optional SMS consent box on our intake form at fleetfootage.com/#contact, you agree that FleetFootage may text you at the number you provide about your inquiry and licensing next steps. Message frequency varies. Message and data rates may apply. Reply STOP to opt out or HELP for help. Consent is not a condition of purchase or of submitting the form.
We do not sell mobile phone numbers or SMS opt-in data. We do not share mobile numbers or opt-in information with third parties or affiliates for their marketing. Numbers and consent records are used only to deliver the FleetFootage program messages you opted into and to meet carrier and legal compliance requirements (for example, honoring STOP requests and retaining proof of consent).
Sharing
We may share contact and fleet details with service providers who help us operate the business (for example, email or SMS delivery, hosting, or CRM tools) under contracts that limit use to providing those services. We may disclose information if required by law. We do not sell personal contact information.
Retention
We keep inquiry and consent records as long as needed to respond to you, run the licensing process, and meet legal and carrier obligations, then delete or anonymize them when no longer needed.
Security
We use reasonable administrative and technical measures to protect information. No method of transmission or storage is perfectly secure.
Your choices
- Email eoin@fleetfootage.com to update or delete inquiry data we hold, subject to legal retention needs.
- For SMS: reply STOP to cancel texts; reply HELP for help; or email us.
Children
Our services are for business users. We do not knowingly collect information from children under 13.
Changes
We may update this policy. The effective date above will change when we do. Continued use of the site after an update means you accept the revised policy.
